Before coming to Watoto, life was difficult for Patience and her mother. Her mother worked hard, yet money was still scarce, making it difficult to provide food and afford school for Patience.

But five years ago, when Patience was eight years old, she and her mother received a life-changing opportunity to join Watoto. Now, while Patience receives a well-rounded education at Watoto’s Suubi village, her mother is being empowered through our Watoto Neighbourhood program that’s providing her with spiritual discipleship, vocational training and business classes.

Although she had a rocky start in life, today Patience is a bright 13-year-old who is traveling the world with the Watoto Children’s Choir sharing the beautiful story of how Jesus restored hope for her and her mother. Don’t miss out. Come meet Patience and the rest of the choir!
