About The Choir

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of hope for Africa’s most vulnerable children and women. On almost every day of the year, the choir is performing somewhere in the world. That means thousands of people get to meet some of our future leaders. People see their smiles and are embraced by their hugs.

The choir serves many purposes. It raises awareness about the work of Watoto globally. It’s also leadership training for our children, providing a strong sense of responsibility while experiencing different cultures. More importantly, it’s a way we share our faith with people around the world. We see thousands of people connect with the love of Jesus and what He’s done in our children’s lives.

Other than coming to Africa yourself, what better way to learn about all the good work God is doing through Watoto than by meeting the children and hearing their stories.

Watoto Children's Choir Presents "Better Days - There Is Hope" Asia Tour 2024-2025

Hong Kong | Singapore | Malaysia

In October this year, the Watoto Children’s Choir will present their new production, “Better Days – There Is Hope” concert in Asia. During this five-month tour across Asia, through passionate singing and dancing, the children will share stories of how God rescued them from difficult circumstances and how they have regained hope in their lives. Our Choir will share their testimonies of transformation from pain and despair towards joy and hope, and raising awareness for disadvantaged children in Africa. The worship experience takes the audience on a touching journey as if they are in Africa.

Rescued as a baby, Lilly was brought to Watoto where she was welcomed into a loving family . Now at nine years old, this beautiful girl is safe, healthy , and knows her value in Christ — she’s living proof that sponsorship works. Recently Lilly shared, “What I love about growing up in Watoto — I get to go to school, I have clothes to keep me warm, I have a bed all my own , and I get to eat yummy food.” We’d love to invite you to come see the choir on tour and say hi to Lilly . She’d love to meet you!

Daniel was rescued as a newborn and brought to Watoto to receive the love and care he so desperately needed. He’ s now a happy 12-year-old boy who loves playing with his friends and spending time with his Watoto mother, Mama Agnes . In fact, one of the things Dani el said he loves most about growing up in Watoto is that he gets to grow up with a mother who loves him. Over the next several months, Daniel is excited to travel across Canada as part of the Watoto Children’s Choir. On tour he looks forward to singing — e specially the song “Nobody Like You” because he gets to lead it . He can’t wait to meet you on tour and celebrate together all that Jesus has done for him. So come join us and make sure to say hi!
