Meet Miriam and Baby Emilly!<\/p>\n\n\n

Miriam found refuge and a loving family at Watoto after she lost both of her parents while she was still a baby. Reflecting back, Miriam says, “Life in Watoto was amazing. I was given a family with brothers and sisters, and my precious Watoto mum called mama Joy loved us unconditionally.\u201d Miriam\u2019s passion to help vulnerable children led her to study Social Work at university, leading her to give back and serve at Baby Watoto. In her arms is Baby Emilly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emilly is a gorgeous little girl who lost her mother when she was only a few months old. This tragic event led to the miracle of a fresh start in life once Watoto was alerted of her situation. Because people like you have given faithfully, Baby Watoto was able to rescue Emilly and welcome her with open arms, providing her with food, clothes, medical care, and the love she so desperately deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Emilly is growing up very healthily and became ready to move into a home on one of our Watoto villages. Today, Emilly has settled in one of our 388 families in our villages. She enjoys eating rice and beans, singing, and overall is loving life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
